A book I can't wait to read

One of my favorite authors is Francine Rivers and (I'm doin' the happy dance!) she has another book coming out in March. And it "looks" marvelous. Enjoy!

You can listen to an interview with Francine about her new book, Her Mother's Hope, here. Enjoy!

The sequel, My Daughter's Dream, releases this fall.

  1. Oh my goodness I am so glad you posted this! I have been waiting and waiting for another one of hers! In the mean time I have been finally finishing up another favorite author of mines books ;) Finally finished Fountain Creek Chronicles (loved them) and am about 2 chapters left of The Inheritance (that took me only 3 days lol) On to Timber Ridge, but while I'm waiting for that 3rd book I might have to pick up this Rivers. Hope you are doing well! Thanks for the wonderful novels.

  3. I got goosebumps too, gals! My copy is already on order.

Thanks, sweet Sarah. You read TI in three days? Sheesh! And to think how long it took me to write...

I felt that none-too-subtle whip, Deb, and am writing hard. ;)

  4. Oh Yay!!! I'm running out of stuff to read (I've switched to mystery - Terri Blackstock - just to have something good to read in between your books and Francine Rivers')...I found "The Scarlet Thread" by FR in the library, but just finished it a couple of days ago. I'm waiting for my local Mardel to replenish their stock of "Beyond This Moment". After I finish that book I'm out of stuff to read by my 2 favorite authors (you and FR)!!! Now, I'll have 2 books to look forward to ("Within My Heart" and FR's new one)!!! Yay!!!

P.S. It only took me a couple of days each time I read one of your books...of course I couldn't stop reading long enough to get much done and/or go to bed. :)

Did I mention that you are one of my favorite authors? I've introduced my co-worker to your books as well. (I was introduced by my grandmother and grandfather.)

  5. Rachel, you've made my day, lady! Thank you!! I'm on the homestretch with Within My Heart. In fact, I just got a chapter critique back from my writing partner (waving to you, Ms. Deborah Raney), and it was SOOO encouraging. I'm racing toward THE END, and ready to be there.

  6. Tammy - I read the advanced copy of it. Oh...my... word. Seriously one of the best books ever. The long wait for it has been well worth it! You're gonna love it!

  9. Our christian book club here in Nolensville, TN recently read this book by Francine Rivers and it was really good! Someone there recommended to us that we should read one of your books so we are going to in August. I'm very excited.

  10. Isn't it fabulous, Megan? I'm finishing it right now. And thanks for trying one of mine. Hope you enjoy! And if you ever want me to visit your book club "virtually" (via speakerphone or Skype) as you're discussing one of my books, I'd love to!

  11. Tamera, it was definitely fabulous! I'm so excited to try yours - my mom actually has the entire Fountain Creek series and she's sending it to me(I actually think you spoke to her book club out of Big Canoe, GA). We'll read Rekindled for our August meeting. It will be great to support a local author. We'd definitely love for you to speak with us when we meet. I'll try to get in touch with you closer to the time of the meeting.
