Within My Heart, ready for release

Do you have a blog or website where you would be interested in posting reviews of Bethany House books? Including my upcoming August release, Within My Heart?

If yes, please contact Bethany House Publishers here, and let them know. What will happen after you sign up to be on the review list (on the above link) is this: BHP will send you a "BOOK REVIEWER EMAIL" and you'll be able to request Within My Heart by responding to that email.

Note: In order to receive the "BOOK REVIEW EMAIL" when WMH is shipped, you must indicate that you want to review historical fiction when you sign up. That's key.

Here's a peek at the back cover copy of Within My Heart...

Determined to fulfill her late husband’s dream, Rachel Boyd struggles to keep her ranch afloat with the help of her two young sons. But some days it feels as though her every effort is sabotaged. When faced with a loss she cannot afford, she’s forced to trust Rand Brookston, the one man in Timber Ridge she wishes to avoid. And with good reason. He’s a physician, just like her father, which tells her everything she needs to know about him. Or so she thinks . . .

Dr. Rand Brookston ventured west with the dream of bringing modern medicine to the wilds of the Colorado Rockies, but the townspeople have been slow to trust him. Just as slow in coming is Rand’s dream to build the town a proper clinic. When a patient’s life is threatened, Rand makes a choice—one that sends ripples through the town of Timber Ridge. And through Rachel Boyd’s stubborn heart.

From the beloved, bestselling author of From a Distance and Beyond This Moment comes an unforgettable story about faith in the face of fear, about tarnished hopes and second chances, and ultimately about the resilient courage and tenacity of hearts broken––and mended––by love.

Sheesh, hope I can live up to those expectations! If you'd like to read the prologue and first chapter, visit here. Thanks, friends.

  1. Hi Tamera,

I am a book blogger and I would *love* to review your new book.

I signed up w/Bethany House a couple of months ago, but I never heard back from them. When I went to sign up again just now it says they already have my email address. Somehow I think there was a glitch somewhere.

But I'm very interested in Within My Heart.

I would also love to interview you at my blog if you have the time.

  3. Thanks, gals! Joy, I'd love to do an interview on your blog. Email me through my website (link is to the right on this blog, just beneath the welcome), and we'll set that up.

I appreciate your question on what to do next (after you sign up). I checked with the marketing department at BHP and added this paragraph into the post above, better explaining how this process works:

What will happen after you sign up for the review list (on the above link) is this: when WMH is shipping, BHP will send you an email and you'll be able to request WMH by responding to that email. Note: In order to receive that email when WMH is shipped, you MUST indicate that you want to review historical fiction when you sign up.

    Thanks, friends!

  4. Hi Tamera,
I just signed up to be a reviewer! I'm so excited! I've loved reading your books. Reading has always been a joy of mine and when I have a moment between taking care of my little ones, I like to pick up a good book. I'm not a professional writer, but I'm a stay-at-home mom and educator that has a love for literature of all types and loves to write on my blog. I've even done a few book reviews on there. Thanks for writing so many wonderful books. I can't wait to read your new one! God bless, Stacey Daniel

  8. Thanks, gals! I appreciate your enthusiasm. Having a book come out is always exciting, but also has a few moments where the author holds her breath a bit. :) Natural, I know. But I do hope you enjoy Rand and Rachel's story. Writing it was certainly a journey for me.

  9. I loved the first two books in this series, and I would LOVE to read this next one! I know it will be wonderful. :D I already review for Bethany House Publishers, so will I be invited to request this book for review?

Congratulations on your upcoming release!!! I can imagine that it's been a long journey to get to this point, but I'm sure it will be well worth it. :) Thank you again, and God bless!

  10. Amber and all, as long as you've indicated that you wish to review HISTORICAL FICTION (you must do that in order to be included) then, when the book is being shipped, the marketing dept will send you an email asking if you'd like to review WMH. And you respond yes. It's that simple! In theory anyway. :)

  11. Hi Tamera,

I have signed up to review the Historical Fiction (and children's books) with Bethany House.

I can't wait to begin reviewing books again, especially Within My Heart. I have reviewed books and other products off and on over the years (mostly homeschool related) and have placed them on my blog.

    Have a great day, Tamera.

  15. Hi, Tamera! I always enjoy your books and am looking forward to your newest. You are a talented writer! I signed up with Bethany House to review books too so will eagerly wait to hear from them!

  16. Hi Tamera! I'm a HUGE fan of your book Rekindled, and have been dying to read the next two in that series! I signed up for the reviewer program, since I am a book blogger (http://bibliophilesupportgroup.blogspot.com/) and would LOVE to review your books and others from Bethany House! :)

I don't know if this is possible, but I've been hoping to review Revealed and Remembered - I know they're older titles, but it is a wish of mine. If this could somehow be possible, could you email me at MrsRonWeasley87@aol.com? Thanks!

I actually did a media request at Bethany House's site for these books and others, but I haven't heard from them. To be honest, I'd love to review those books as well as the first two in this latest trilogy! Lol. But I will definitely take whatever I can get, happily!!!

Thanks for the opportunity, and thanks for writing such fantastic historical fiction!

As you know, I have been SO blessed by your work, and look forward with Great Anticipation to the continuation of Rachel and Dr. Rand's story! I'm also grateful in advance for the opportunity to explore a deeper faith in the face of fear!!

  21. Thanks, Nanette and all. Even with all the ways of communicating and advertising these days, there's still no better marketing than word of mouth. I hope you enjoy WMH, and if you do, let me go ahead and say thank you for passing that word along to others. Blessings, friends!

  26. Cool! I hope I get the email and the chance to say I would LOVE to review it! :)

Do think there is any chance that BHP will offer up the first two books along with WMH for those who haven't gotten a chance to read them?

    I'm excited, either way! ;)
