Krispy Kreme Conspiracy

Want to know something I learned this weekend (from a wild Southern woman)? That Krispy Kreme has a "Hot Light" app telling you when your local Krispy Kreme store has fresh hot doughnuts...

Who knew!? This is TOO dangerous for me to download. I think I'll still keep living in the belief that if the sign is lit when I go by, then it's a sign from heaven that I'm supposed to drive thru!

And when I can't zip my jeans anymore, I guess that'll be another sign. Though I won't need an app for that. : }

  1. It's a good thing that our nearest Krispy Kreme is about an hour away. When I see that "hot dougnuts" sign I'm like a fly to one of those bug zappers. I think it was "A Bug's Life" when one of the flies was going towards it and his friends says, "No! Don't go towards the light!" and the fly says, "But it's so pretty!" Yes, that's me. That red sign is so pretty : ). Then after eating one (ok, maybe two) chocolate iced ones I feel almost sick from all the sugar. But I still eat them the next time. : ) Blessings on your week~Stacey

  2. LOL! Yes, Stacey. That was A Bug's Life "It's so beautiful...." ZAP! (ROFLOL)

    I love the chocolate iced ones too, but um...I just feel happy after eating them. Not sick. Maybe if I felt sick I'd stop having them so often. : }

    How are you feeling, lady? Well I hope!

  3. Wow!! Very dangerous! One of the reasons I am glad we don't have a smart phone!! XD Though, I think I prefer Dunkin' Donuts over Krispy Kreme (I hear the *gasps* and *Blasphemy* coming from all of you right now!).

  4. I'm not just gasping, I'm chokin' over here, Catherine! LOL! Actually, SADLY, I've never met a doughnut I didn't like. DD included. That's why I try to keep my introductions to them at a minimum...

  5. lol! Same here...I try to stay away from them. This from the girl who has had ice cream or cookies every day since last Tuesday...*sigh* Good thing we're getting back into our running! How's the deadline coming along?

  6. You're so funny, Tammy! And how I'd LOVE to have a Krispy Kreme near my house....but then again, maybe it's just as well I don't. Then the employees there would know me by name*sigh* (like the folks at Truett's Grill, the Chick-fil-a diner very close to my house)LOL! What can I say...when I find someplace I love, I'm a "LOYAL customer"! Hugs, Patti Jo (who is now craving a cream-filled doughnut...YUM)

  7. All this doughnut talk is stirring up cravings. Mmmm. I'm going to the "big city" tonight (where the KK is) and I might have to have one...with a cup of coffee. Yum-O! I must say, I don't discriminate against doughnuts, but KK is the best. They had Dunkin' in my town in Thailand (in the grocery store) and I would get some every so often, but I never stopped dreaming about the day I would get some chocolate glazed goodness.
    Tammy...I'm doing pretty good. I've got about 8 weeks (and counting) and feeling rather large. The room is ready, the baby clothes are washed and put away, the bed is made...just need a baby! : ) We've had a busy week or so...kid's birthday party, tomorrow I get to meet Melanie Dickerson!, and next weekend we're having a Sunday School Superbowl party at our house.
    Cheers to all of you and happy Krispy Kreme-ing ; ).
