Which image do you like best?

From a Distance
Beyond This Moment
Within My Heart
Hey friends,

Starting tomorrow, my Timber Ridge Reflections ebook series will be on sale for certain dates over the next three weeks.

To that end, I'd appreciate your input!

Which of the following images announcing the ebook sale do you like best?
Which do you think is most effective for social media (or "are," if you like more than one)?
Anything you'd change? Or add?
What catches your attention most (price? cover art? author name?)?

For you Pinterest pals, feel free to pin any or all!

In gratitude for your feedback, I'll randomly draw two comments from all the comments left through Wednesday noon (central time), and those two people will each receive a $5.00 Panera Bread gift card. Just my way of saying thank you! (Only USA Mailing addresses, please.)

Here we go…

Whichever one gets the most votes is the one I'll use in my newsletter this week!

Thanks so much, friends. And, as always, I look forward to hearing from you.

Tammy

Note: Participation in ebook promotions is up to the discretion of the individual vendors. Typically these vendors include Amazon, B&N, CBD, iTunes, and sometimes Kobo. But it's the ebook vendor who chooses to run the sale or not.

  1. I like Option A the best. The yellow inset makes it easy to read. Option D is my least favorite; it detracts from the covers.

  2. Hm, I like "B" best. I think the way all the elements are arranged in that one works best. :)

    ReplyDelete
  3. I vote for image C! The sale catches your eye right away which would make someone slow down in their scrolling to see what's on sale. Which of course is the next thing that you notice, the unobstructed covers. And then the On Sale These Days Only noticeable after that so people will look at the dates! That's just my opinion!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I like A best. It looks artistically pleasing.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I like Image A the most, and I would keep it exactly how it is. The yellow "sun" at the top announcing the $1.99 sale definitely catches my attention more than the others, and it would make me click on it to find out more. I also like the way the books are arranged with that one.

  6. I like Option C because it gives the most information and states clearly the sale is for certain dates ONLY!

I like option E best. I think that the book covers are arranged in a way that works well. Also all of the information is easy to read.

  8. I vote for option "B" I find the the red print catches my eyes quicker than any of the other images.

  12. I like Image C - it seems the least "busy" looking compared to the others and all the text stands out without being too much.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Either A or E...if I had to choose one, it would be A :-)

    ReplyDelete
  14. absolutely A. it's the best, doesn't detract from the covers. very nice

    ReplyDelete
  15. I like Image C the best. The color draws your eye and the sale information is very clear. I hope you make lots of sales

    ReplyDelete
  16. I like "A" the best. It is the only one that states at the top "Select Dates" which made me actually look at the dates below each cover.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I like option A best. The arrangement of the books is especially appealing in that one, and it contains just enough information.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Image A is my choice. It "pops." donnaeharmon@yahoo.com

  19. I like option b. I loved this series!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I like the way the books are placed in "A" the best. The set up of the books draws the attention more, and I love the cover art. The attention placed on the 1.99 sale is not as attention grabbing as "B" or "C". The bright yellow in "A" grabs the attention, but it is not very large. I like the set up of the sale and information in "C" a lot, but the set up of the books in "A". Both caught my eye, but it is hard to say if "C" or "A" caught my attention more.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I vote for "C". I like the information that is included - (Award Winning series) (USA Today Bestselling author). If someone has not read your books, that information tells you something about the quality of the books. The $1.99 is large and easy to read. It could be put in red if it catches the eye easier. The titles and sale dates are clear and easy to read.

  22. Image C has my vote! I love the color contrast, the price is easy to see, and the dates are listed well enough. The only thing is, it's difficult to see your website on this one. It would look so nice if your website was listed under ON SALE THESE DATES ONLY in the same color, red. Hope this helps :) *please don't enter me in contest*

    ReplyDelete
  23. I also like the design of option A, but I think it would be better if they added "From USA Today Bestselling Author Tamera Alexander" and if the yellow "sun" was a little larger!

  24. I like image C the best. It's easy to read the details yet is eye catching and not overloaded.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I like Image B best, because of the coloring. But like the information given in C about this being a Christy award winning series. And I will say I love this series. The red catches my eye.

    ReplyDelete
  27. A catches my eye, but B shows them in the order that they are written and on sale.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I like Image A the best. It is very clear and highlights the different covers very nicely.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I prefer option C since it has crisp lettering for my weak eyes. All of the lettering is readable for me. I've read and enjoyed all of them!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Image A is more eye-catching because of the bright yellow and different placement of the books.

    I like Image A best

    ReplyDelete
  33. Artistically, I like A the best, but for marketing purposes I vote for C.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Image B
The coloring seems more appealing to the eye.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I like c. Best description.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I like A the best. Pleasing to the eye with the 3-D feel. Like the red in the middle.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I like c. Best description.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I like A the best. There's a nice flow to how it's laid out. I'm looking forward to the sale - Beyond This Moment is the only one of your books I don't have. :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I like A best because the red dress in the middle is a real eye catcher.

    dowelljanet@hotmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  40. Image C. Gives all the info without repeating and the blue text on white background is easier on the eyes than red. (Aside: I would have chosen A if the "$1.99 sale" text had been larger)

    ReplyDelete
  41. I would vote for "C" because the information is easy to read & large enough to catch the reader's attention. "A" may be artistic, but I would expect the book on the left to be on sale first, not the middle one even though it is set out from the other two. I have read and shared all three books and would highly recommend them!

  42. Carolyn Vigna2/03/2014 7:05 PM

I like C the best. I am an e-reader & I have read all your books.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I like "A" the best...the arrangement of the books is more appealing...it looks less.....stiff....for lack of a better word.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I like C the best! I'll be picking up books 2 & 3 when the time comes! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  45. My vote is for Image C with the edits of changing the font color to all blue and adding in the shading from Image D. Image C portrays an eye - catching message but could use some elegance. Image A has the cover up front of the woman facing away, which feels off - putting if your trying to grab someone's attention. The other Images are either too busy or very dull. I love your writing and the Images should reflect the product.

    ReplyDelete
  46. E is easiest to read -- less clutter on the artwork

    ReplyDelete
  47. I really like Image A the best. I like the layout and the yellow makes it easier to read. :-)

  49. A is the best for me!
    susanlulu@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  50. I like E because it clearly shows the dates and the sale prices as well as the original price and discount.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think image A has the most appeal. I have From a Distance and I will make sure I purchase the other 2 in the series. ♥

    ReplyDelete
  52. B wins my vote! Red alerts my eyes to a sale & all the pertinent info is presented simply & clearly! Don't like Image D...distortion of the covers. Image E presents too much info in too small an area.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I like A the best because the first of the series is in the front, like a leader. :) Also, the yellow sun banner with the $1.99 sale on top is like a heading, so it's less repetitive. They are all very nice, but A appeals the most to me.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I like option A the best. Of the three books, that cover has always been my favorite and I like the way it is featured in this layout. BTW, this trilogy is one of my all time favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I like option A the best. The yellow is very eye catching and I like how the books are displayed.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I definitely like A the best, with the 1st book in the front and the yellow sunshine. C is a close second, only because of the addition of the best-selling author and Christy Award winning info. If there were away to add that to A, it would be perfect!

I thoroughly dislike D, and E has waaaay too much copy/words in it. B is just kinda blah. And for some reason, the focal point in that one is the white ruffle at the top of the middle gal's dress! That's not what you want people to notice the most.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Image A is the most eye catching to me. It's laid out well, easy to read, fun and not cluttered . Image D looks " cheap". C would be my next choice. B is okay.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I like A the best! The yellow is eye catching, and the stacking of the covers really draws your eye to the sale price. I also like that the cover art is not obstructed.

Definitely A. I am an ebook reader and have read the first book in this series! I loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Definitely Image A! I like the positioning of the books better. The cover art is much more appealing in that arrangement. The yellow sale portion is also eye catching.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I like A best. It gives a clear picture of the books.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Image A is my choice. I like the added depth. Select dates qualifies each sale date. Although, I do like the red top of B...it seems clearer tan the yellow "sun." I'm anonymous (no blog) Sandra Benford on fb. This series introduced me to your work and now I look for new releases.
    ...Love your books

    ReplyDelete
  64. It's either A or C. And I've read all of them before and anything else of yours that I can get my hands on!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Image A makes me want to read all three!!
    Doretha Stroud

    ReplyDelete
  66. B (or C) It's good to see the price a larger font.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I like Image A the best because of the placement of the books and the pop of yellow. I like Image D the least--the prices take away from the beauty of the covers.

    ReplyDelete
  68. It's between Option A and C but think I'll go with C! I like the Christy award mentioned and the simplicity of the cost.

When I started back reading (as an adult) I googled for Christian Inspiration and these 3 books were my start back to my favorite hobby. They also gently moved me into the world of missions of Central America (10 years now) - I can do anything, with a book in hand or my Kindle Fire!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I like the arrangement in "E " the best. Let's you see you are getting a great bargain! Have read these books and really liked them.

    ReplyDelete
  70. A, by far...and I'd love for YOI to come join me at Panera! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  71. I like B or E the best. E looks like Bethany House publishing's list of ebooks on sale so I'm used to seeing that, maybe that's why I'm drawn to it

    ReplyDelete
  72. I like option C. I don't care for A, because I think the yellow looks odd right against the covers. The print seems a bit small in B and the "on sale these dates only" is hard to read. As someone else said, option D ruins the covers. E is perhaps the easiest understood, but not the most eye-catching. C is my favorite, because the red and blue catch my attention and I'll stop to read what it says. It is very clear and the colors aren't too close to the cover imagines, so they don't clash.
That's probably tmi, but I thought perhaps I should explain my preference. :)
    ~Sarah

    ReplyDelete
  73. I like C best. You notice the price and dates of those prices right away.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Image A has the most visual appeal for me: the yellow background grabs the eye for the callout of the price and the images are arranged where the eye can move in a triangle rather than just linear. This one really displays the artwork well. The text in the yellow might appear better a shade darker or if the text were bold. The only info not on this one is 'Christy Award Winning Historical Series' and 'USA Today Bestselling Author' which cold be added in the white space below the side pictures in a different color font...or leave it as it is, of course!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Image B catches my eye the best and is easiest to read. It is laid out well, however you might want to replace the series name to "best selling" info instead. These are all wonderful books - you'll be sure to pick up some new readers through this promo!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  78. I like them all, but E is my vote. It shows people what a great deal they are getting.

  79. Option C because it has the most information about the books

    ReplyDelete
  80. SO appreciate all these comments. Great feedback, friends. Keep it coming!

    ReplyDelete
  81. A is getting my vote.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Image A: the yellow half circle catches the eye, the middle cover is set out with a striking red image in it. And the sale information is clear and large enough.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I like A best. The layout is pleasing and the info is there.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Definitely C. The lettering is easy to read and not repeated. I like that the books are in order. Would like to see the brighter dress colors on C, but everything else looks better in C. I like that the dates, prices, etc. are different colors to make them stand out.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I vote for Image A. I like the yellow arch and the way the middle one stands out. Pleasant to the eye! It's great fun to give opinions! Love your books so much!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Image A. The books look more real and inviting, like you could reach and grab it and feel the books! Ebooks need to look real for me to be interested. I have not read these books yet, image A grabbed my attention.

  97. I actually like B, but I would make all the letters black and drop the "on sale these dates only" text altogether. E is my second choice. That's a format that I am used to seeing on e-book sale announcements. rmaney@firstarpchurch.org.

  98. I vote for A! The yellow label at the top made me look at the specific dates.

  104. I like option A the best. The arrangement of the books really draws your attention and is very appealing. Also, the yellow half circle gives the information needed and is the only option that says "See select dates." This forces you to not only to look below the books for the dates, but also draws your attention to the books as well. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  105. I like "A" best. It is eye catching. The other's are just lined up. I really don't like "D" it takes away from the cover. I do like some of the info on the other choices, however the eye goes back to "A".

    ReplyDelete
  106. I like A the best. It gives me all the info clearly and I like that the books are offset a little.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I like A! The yellow makes it really stand out!

My 91-year-old mother-in-law loves your books. She is a Dutch immigrant, and very feeble. One of the few pleasures she has in life is reading Christian fiction on her Kindle Fire, a gift for her 90th birthday. She loves it because she can read in bed when the pain is too bad to sleep at night. Christian fiction has discipled her in the way nothing else could have.

  109. I think image C is best. It has all the important info, including having the limited time in red. Image A has the photos arranged in a visually appealing way, but it is confusing because the first one is in the middle so the sale dates aren't chronological from left to right. Some of the others are just too wordy.

  115. Image A is very eye-catching because the middle book stands out, which caught my eye, and the little, half-circle also caught my eye. The others weren't as eye-catching for me.

  116. SO appreciate everyone's input! A was the preferred image, but I'm going to tweak it a bit according to what a few of you said about the "arch" at the top.
