Let the Great Bake-off begin!


Last week I posted a recipe for a Creamy Praline Pecan Pie I'd made and then challenged Angie Hunt––gourmet baker that she is––to reciprocate with a recipe. And she did. Today! Let the bakin' begin, honey. How fun!

  1. Sounds fun! : ) I made an apple pie today with some delicious north GA apples..mmm. But I cheated on the crust...not homemade! : ) I snagged some discounted candy corn to do some turkey cookies with my kiddos...they're really cute (I've done them with students before). One fun thing we used to do every Christmas was have a cookie swap (this was obviously a girl party). Everyone brings plates/bags of the amount of cookies they want to swap. You include your recipe. You get to swap with others so that you go home with the same amount but all different types of cookies. Very fun...and a great way to try new cookies and recipes! Happy baking!
