Channel 5 Talk of the Town show, and Beaten Biscuits

I had such a great time on Talk of the Town this morning, a local Nashville TV show. We chatted about Tennessee history, beaten biscuits, and To Whisper Her Name, the first Belle Meade Plantation novel.

What's the latest thing you've baked?

  1. To be honest, the last thing I did bake was beaten biscuits. I think next time I am going to make it a little thicker than my first batch. The ones I made last were a little too thin, still though, they were fantastic!
Also, I am so excited, because I get to go to Belle Meade this weekend! I can't wait. I have the feeling this will be the best weekend ever!!!

  2. This is great! I'm glad I got to see a demonstration on how it's done because I think it would be really fun to do it with the kids as part of our homeschooling! I loved the video of you and Robin on the last post, too...lol! Can't wait to be at Belle Meade this weekend! Blessings~Stacey

  3. Seriously, Bailey!? How cool! And wonderful about you being at Belle Meade this weekend. I'm hoping our paths cross! Looking forward to seeing you.

And you too, Stacey! We're going to have some fun!

So glad we're on this journey together!

  4. Woohoo! I am excited about some fun! : ) I forgot to mention that the last thing I baked, until today, was the cake mix cookies you put on your blog a while back. We added chocolate chips and some white chocolate M&Ms...yum! Right now I have 2 loaves of pumpkin/chocolate chip bread in the oven!

  5. Oh yum, Stacey! Love those! And I can almost smell that bread from here! ; )
