From Germany With Love

Hello friends,

I'm writing a quick note on Monday morning from Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany where we're having a wonderful time on our book tour with Francke, our German publisher.

I'm with friends Lynn Austin and Elizabeth Musser and we're spending our days laughing
hysterically while trying not to be too "American." Essentially an impossible feat for us.

The first night on the book tour.

To Whisper Her Name releases in Germany

Wie ein Flüstern im Wind
(Like a Whisper in the Wind)

To Whisper Her Name (Wie ein Flüstern im Wind, or Like a Whisper in the Wind, is the German title), releases in Germany this month and I couldn't be more thrilled. I love connecting with my German readers and am excited to share that Francke, my German publisher, has invited me to come for a visit next summer.

So get ready, my German friends, next June I'm headed your way! More details once we get them confirmed, but I'm grateful to Francke for the kind invitation, and I'm looking forward to meeting my readers in Germany.

Now here it is in English…

Blessings on your day…

Crusin' with some writing buddies

I had the awesome privilege of traveling with a group of my writing buddies last week, and we had a marvelous time. Here's a quick glimpse of our capers at sea.

(The full album––and I do mean full––can be viewed on my Facebook Page!)

Me and Robin Lee Hatcher, my rooming buddy

Colleen Coble and husband Dave as the ship was about to set sail

Rene Gutteridge and Susan Meissner, dining partners one evening

Robin and her Minnie Mouse Wedding Ears
(more info on this in the Facebook Album)
(Robin is flanked by the lovely Colleen Coble (L) and Denise Hunter (R)

Trish Perry, Virginia Smith, Gayle Roper, Robin and me

Delicious "views" of the food

Isn't it amazing what creations the chefs come up with?

And lastly, me and Robin with Terri Blackstock

As fun as it was to travel, I'm thrilled to be back home and writing again. And to be stateside as A Lasting Impression hits the shelves! Hope you enjoy this first Belmont Mansion novel, and I'd love to hear from you once you've read it!
